Promotional Materials
A while ago we heard from a Joy of Living student:
"I love this class! Joy has made such a difference in my life! Only one suggestion— Advertise! I‘d been looking for something like this for 6 years and a chance happening led me to the class. THEN I found out three women from my church had been coming for years and one of them is even a Joy leader! How was I so close and yet so far? How can we get the word out?"
You, too, may have wondered how to get the word out about your class. In response to this need, Joy of Living has developed materials to help you increase community awareness of your class.
You may download and print the Promo Packet items here, using Adobe Reader software. To save the Posters and Brochure with your changes you will need Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher. Important note for Macintosh users
The two Posters and the Brochure contain fields in which you may type your class's information before printing and duplicating them.
Each field should be highlighted. If not, click the "Highlight Fields" button at top, right of window. Then click into each field to type your information.
To save your work as you go, click out of the field you are typing in and then select "Save" from the "File" menu.

The Promo Packet contains:
- 11-inch by 17-inch Poster This black and white poster will print out on two 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch pages. You may take it to a copy shop to have it copied onto 11-inch by 17-inch paper or posterboard. There are four fields on page 2 (the bottom half of the poster) in which to type your class information.
- 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch Poster Black and white. There are four fields on the bottom half of the poster in which to type your class information.
- Joy of Living Clip Art This clip art page includes the Joy of Living logo and other pictures and phrases. Adobe Reader software allows you to select and copy text or pictures (click the Graphics Select Tool button in the Adobe Reader toolbar, draw a box around the graphic, click the Copy button in the Reader toolbar), and then you can paste them into a document in your word processing software. Or you may print the page and manually cut and paste the items.
- Sample news releases
- Class Promotional Brochure This tri-fold brochure has four fields in which to type the specific information for your class. You may manually cover or change any wording in the brochure (using white-out) that does not apply to your class. Special note: Although Adobe Reader may show the page size as 9.5 by 12 inches, and on the screen the items may appear to run off the edge of the page on page 1, the brochure will actually print properly on 8.5 by 11 inch paper and will look right when folded into 3 parts.
